Sure, I agree it was likely more sophisticated. But at the end of the day, they're still people. My only point was that most posters here are far more sophisticated when it comes to Patriot matters. The jury is not. Hence the comparison to Apple versus some of the other companies.

Would a bench trial have gone better worse? Who knows.
