They're dumping a bad investement that they don't have the time, skill and/or will to develop. Not that it has much potential.

It always has been and always will be about the MMP. Now they need the scratch to continue to pursue the MMP so they're dumping. PDSG/Crossflo/Avot/ETC is all wasted money. Either they got too big for their britches and thought they could play VC like the big boys or, worse, they overpaid to cronies. Haven't looked into it deep enough to know which.
