Hmmm....let's see. You say Brian was dismissed, yet Rick Goerner told me in an e-mail response that Brian resigned.
You say he was a complete and miserable failure in performing his role. Why would you say that? For example, if his advice was to say it would be a good idea to diversify and plan for a future income stream after the patents run out through an M&A strategy, is it his fault how that was executed by the BOD and Management? Or, for example, what if he provided advice that the company took that avoided additional failed actions on their part? Is it REALLY as ABUNDANTLY clear as only the two choices you present? I suppose you consider Jim Turley an utter failure as well by your interpretation.
He resigned after nearly three years from a role in which by definition was advisory at best. Yet our same BOD members of nearly 10 years, who are charged with being qualified in their own right to perform their roles, take the advice of others, and formulate their own opinions and set the direction of the company, remain. They don't have the decency to resign despite roles of ACTION and not advice, and these are the things you find mind-boggling. Interesting.
