How many shares traded between mid-September and mid-November, for example?

Most buys at 15 cents could have been sold at 25 cents or above. Even with just 100,000 shares, $15,000 could so easily have been doubled.

There's no need to be "pretty independently wealthy" to take advantage of the cycle, and if you look carefully, I'm sure you'll find more than one occasion when it applied, end April and end May, for two examples.
