Your basically saying that either
1. RG is stupid for not knowing what he got himself into and more so for staying after realizing.
Or
2. RG is a lacky of CJ, the one who hired him.
The problem with the choices are at least in the case of 2, it was not necessary for CJ to come up with someone with RG's credentials. Would not RG have too much self respect for the second possibility to be workable?
In spite of RG purchasing stock at those higher prices, I do not believe RG is stupid. Doubt anyone here really thinks that. Must believe there is another possibility.
3. Perhaps RG is able to see past all the difficulties that surround this company and sees promise and huge rewards if he is able to meet the challenge and get this thing headed in a different direction. Some CEOs do like the challenge part just as much as all the benefits which come with being a CEO. I get the feeling that RG might be one of those. Well, hope so anyway.
