Mr. Goerner has over 30 years experience in the electronics industry. Before joining API, Rick was the President and Chief Operating Officer for the Storage Products Group of Texas Instruments (TI). In that role, he directed product development, operations, marketing/sales, finance and global customer positioning activities. He also led the integration of Silicon Systems, Inc. (SSI) with Texas Instruments following TI’s acquisition of SSI. Mr. Goerner previously served in several key management positions with SSI.
Prior to joining TI, Rick held various operation, marketing and sales roles at Silicon Systems, Inc., Signetics Corporation, Teledyne Semiconductor and the American Strionics Division of Technicolor Incorporated. He is an active and previous member of several Boards of Directors. He received his BSEE degree in 1970 from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
