I agree.  Number 2 is the logical choice.  Why would he include the statement if everyone wanted to sell?  The company employees would just stick to the rules of no insider trading.  They wouldn't announce it.

If everyone (in the know) was planning on selling and they couldn't until the middle of April, would they drop an encryptic message that they would sell if they could?  It would not help share price by the time they were elligible to sell.

Especially with all of the recent positives, including the Markman.
