It has an interesting graph showing near term spending on the ( IOT ) from the tech. industry.
But, imo, more important are the predictions from ( 5 ) well known research groups!
Forrester Research / Mahina Research / World Economic Forum / Gartner / IDC
1) IOT will drive the shift from selling Products ( think of nest etc. ) to Providing Service!
( right up Nunchi's alley )
2) IOT will become a significant componant of Security Budgets!
( right up perhaps Microsignet & synap's alley )
3) IOT will become a Data Science Specialization & a top demand for a job.
( Edig's IP is all about Data )
4) There will be a pruning of competing IOT networking options BUT NO Dominant
Platforms & standards!
( Lots of room for Edig's IP ? )
5) Forrester Research says that ( IOT ) is diverse & immature. Most of the 19 companies identified in their report are in Survival & Growth Phase!!!
Also they believe that the development of Standards & robust Security are Key to future success!
I worry about the future of Edigital but it hit me again that Edig is really going for the long haul!
? why would a company on the ropes update the website as Edig just did?
? why would a company on the ropes spend the massive amount of time & $ on long term IP?
Edig has a plan ( I just wish that I really knew what it was! :) :) )
