I doubt we'll see much from Sandisk based on Handal's settlement history.

Arcsoft may be another matter. I certainly hope so but we should also understand that they may have given Arcsoft a 'first-mover-discount' limiting how much they will pay. Still if EDIG could claim they will be receiving royalties for several more years, then that would be a good start.

Now or never? Yes indeed... several times over in fact.

There has to be a change to the status quo. Forward licensing with royalties needs to happen. We'll never amount to anything getting small one-time payments for Flash-R.
