Yes I got to thinking last night after signing-off, that shoulda been, 'secondary expandable memory.' microOS is structured to work with HDD and/or Flash; beit a secondary slot for SD or onboard expandable flash or an SSD or any other future medium as you'v pointed out.

sman those are great, but just wish there was some way these writups could emphisize that this coupling of microprocessor with ram was 'a first,' done in 1996 with Intel and Sandisk and created the first flash file management systen between nonvolitile mem [flash] and the microprocessor.
