At least one has to figure there was no Apple deal because it has not been stated by either party. Anything more is pure speculation. Robert used to foster speculation, IMO.

However, at the SHM we were told by Fred that our new tech was in the hands of about 40 different companies. As I recall one of those companies was stated to be Apple. ( Upon which I just lost it. Giving info to the "enemy" was just unbelievable to me. And of course Fred explained that it was OK and they could not take advantage of us because we have patents this time etc. )
