I have noticed that some of these "settlements" have stated company X shall write a check and some of them have said (paraphrase) the parties have agreed to agree and proposed language for the settlement shall be submitted by both sides etc. and if not agreed upon by a certain date then the judge will get back involved. Does this mean anything?
