I am really confused as to SanDisk.?. What did they do wrong?

I can see EDIG suing Nikon and Casio, who were using SanDisk produced removable disks which were enhenced by EDIG technology...

The relationship between EDIG and SanDisk followed the Silcon Valley Ethos of 1990's. Companies in those days operated synergistically, sharing technology with the hope of growing a given field and benefiting each other.

As technology took over our lives, Wall Street greed took over the Silicon Valley, the ethos of sharing got replaced with huge stashs of cash to pay any potential law suits, and using whatever you could duplicate in your Labs and have the lawyers deal with it in the Courts.

We had an experience like that with DigePlayer fiasco...

Whether Edig can sue SanDisk will depend on what sort of agreement they had as Partners, what promises they made to each other, and how they breached those promises?...

Remembering if SanDisk had permission to put MOS on the gazzilion disks they sold to third parties, where is the infringement?...

GLTA...
