IMO, the outcome of the current re-exam must be favorable to take a shot at Sandisk...or any card manufacturer implementing flash memory.

The main topic of the re-exam is about this very issue.....the control of device issues which involve the memory interface, such as, VCC and VPP circuitry ..... for writing/reading and flashing the memory.

As a card manufacturer the controller methods that interface the memory are on board the card....774 micro-controller considerations.

For a card manufacturer, they would want a product that is portable to any higher level OS....445 portability consideration for data management utilizing 774 micro-controller issues.
