There may be reasons why terms of the agreement were not completely stated. 1) Panasonic may not have wanted the terms of the agreement revealed. 2)EDIG may not want to publicize all the one term payments if they are aiming for ongoing revenue from a license. I trust the legal team knows what they are doing and are helping to make certain news releases fit the terms of each agreement.
