i am anti-apple membership holder so i would say go for captivate.but again iphone is better in its own way.... best thing about samsung captivate is
if u add anew line thru amazon or other websites u have to pay only 0.99 cents for a new line (ATT website/store charge 199.00) ...whereas APPLE is always 199.00...
good thing with ATT is u have to take a minimum data plan for iphone or captivate -15$/month

again go to th store and check these out...look wise samsung is better

amazon/letstalk/wirefly are cheaper compared to ATT...especially captivate mode

ATT lo manchi phones annitiki either data plan or messaging plan pettesadu ....so u r stuck with very basic phones (oldest models) if u go for only the voice plan...try letstalk.com or wirefly.com to see if they any deals

amazon/letstalk/wirefly are cheaper compared to ATT...especially captivate model
