I bet the "round one" was not laughing when Srilankan Airlines did not even want a quote from him and EDIG won the contract.

Be that as it may, the business plans as referenced in the 1/2009 statements by AC did not pan out, due to economic conditions, thus shelving the next gen eVU IMO was the right thing to do, today.

They have "locked up the R&D for next gen eVU in the safe" and can bring it out at a later date and go from there.

Had they continued the plan, burned a few hundred thou, THEN shelved it, that would not have been a good decision.

I'm OK with this personally.

BTW, how does your garden growith these days?
