You are taxing yourself trying to read much into the "Extensions" requested in the Round Two cases...

These "Unopposed requests for extentions" are given by Plaintiff counsel routinely, when the case qualifies as "Complex" and defense counsel asks for extentions of time to file the ANSWER...

Federal Courts are on a FAST TRACK system of moving the cases along according to time lines specified by RULES of Court...

Now, if you see a MOTION filed by the parties asking for extension of time, like it was done in Samsung case, siting "Obligations " to be taken care of by Samsung, that is when you can poist there is seriou negotiations taking place...
