Brigadier Gold (TSX-V: BRG) Announces Shares for Debt Issuance

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 20, 2009) - Brigadier Gold Limited (TSX VENTURE:BRG) (the "Corporation") announced that it has issued 3,000,000 common shares at $0.05 per share pursuant to a shares for debt transaction to extinguish $150,000 of outstanding debt owed to a drilling company. The expiry date of the hold period for the securities issued pursuant to this debt settlement is June 20, 2009. The Corporation received regulatory approval from the TSX Venture Exchange to issue the shares on February 19, 2009.

Brigadier has 41,295,268 common shares outstanding and trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol BRG.
