Ali, I have been looking at some past pdfs and although I am not sure, it appears that there is quite a bit of sandstone west of horseshoe lake. Not being a geologist, again I am not knowledgeable, however I believe sandstone is an excellent bedding material. Remember the reference to bedding planes when the 007 disccovery was released. I don't want to get anybodies hopes up so I want to make it clear I am not an expert on anything.
