I note we're to have all employers offering pension schemes, even the smallest, soon in the UK and automatic enrolement, i.e. you're in unless you opt out, by Government dictat.

Seems like a set up to get the flow of savings into a vehicle whose rules are under the control of the Government, i.e. you can't get it out until you retire and then only according to a set of rules which constantly change.

I won't have anything to do with pensions despite the tax advantages.
