About the Big Daddy being closer to the surface than Black Thor thing.....I asked Don Hoy about that quite specifically, and he told me that they simply hadn't drilled the upper reaches of the deposit. Their collar setbacks were designed intentionally to ensure that the holes entered the deposit on an edge, rather than on the top surface. A top hit would not allow them to calculate the true width of the intersection, so they just didn't do that drilling. Yet. A feasibility study would require that drilling to be done, but we'll have to wait and see what data come from that.

According to Hoy, depth to bedrock is very similar at Thor and Daddy.
