Actually, Anton thought that the business could succeed if they acquired control over certain claims. That's why he was trying to raise money, to acquire the mill, Sinker, and SFMI claims w/ Earll. He also said he and Earll were in negotiation w/ the other owners for the rest of the claims that GHDC/SFMI only owned parts of (the claims that he thought were the only viable claims). Presumably, new management at SFMI may also be able to negotiate once the Qs are gone.

Remember, all that historic information about War Eagle is still valid. The mines there were never tapped out, and War Eagle itself has never been more than minimally explored using modern methods. All of the historic mines were based on visible finds at the surface, and what little drilling and exploration has been done indicates that the veins run much further. All indications are that there is still much to be found there, including in claim areas wholly controlled by SFMI or GHDC.
