I saw a post here earlier today about what someone called the "historical 43-101." Know I know what a 43-101 is because I do most of my trading on the TSX where 101s are very common.

Now my terminology may not be exactly correct here, but I seem to recall that one of the purposes of a 43-101 is to move reserves from the inferred or estimated category to the much more definitive proven category.

That is done by a very systematic grid drilling and assay program that is subject to 3rd party verification.

Can someone tell me what is meant by the term "historical" as regards a 43-101?
