SFMI states at the bottom of most of its PRs that they have 2000 acres.
"SFMI has mineral rights to approximately 2,000 acres on War Eagle Mountain in southern Idaho."
Not sure why some other sources, such as the presentation, say 1100. Maybe they gave up some of the claims after further examination. The statement in the PR is fairly recent (Feb 29), but did not appear in the most recent PR. The claims map on the web site link (see below) says approx 1400 acres, but that might be the total number of acres on the map, not SFMI's claims. If the map is indeed 1400 acres, then SFMI's claims on the map might be ~1100 acres, though it would seem that SFMI's claims would probably extend past the map boundaries.
RK might say that the claims belong to SFMI, but if you look at the map, the yellow colored claims (the ones other than the original 178 acres) are clearly labeled "Goldcorp" in the legend, and in fact the legend itself is labeled Goldcorp Holdings. This discrepancy is something RK should be asked about.
BTW, I do think oryx may be around here somewhere.
