I have been seriously thinking about this for the last few weeks, ever since I started reading about all the bank failures. Pic mentioned in a thread a few weeks ago that we will become more weathly relatively over the rest of the people around us who were not fortunarte enough to procure SFMI/GHDC stock.

If we return to the gold standard and SFMI goes through the roof, where do you figure to put your new wealth? Banks? Gov't Bonds? Foreign Banks? Safetly Deposit Box? More stocks? Backyard?

I am serious about this, as I feel we will be looking at a new financial landscape.

Stuffing my mattress with Gold is not an option.
