EBX: 63X Master Fund Announces Acquisition of Additional Shares of Ventana Gold Inc.
RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL--(Marketwire - May 28, 2010) - 63X Master Fund ("63X") (BOVESPA: EBXB3), of Unlgand House, Grand Cayman, KY1-1104, Cayman Islands, announces that it has acquired ownership and control of an additional 1,100,000 common shares of Ventana Gold Corp. ("Ventana" or "Company") through the facilities of the Toronto Stock Exchange, bringing its aggregate ownership in Ventana to 19,306,000 common shares. 63X paid cash consideration of C$ 10,62 per share of Ventana, for aggregate consideration of C$ 11,682,000.
As already known to the market, 63X is part of the EBX Group, which for its turn is controlled by Mr. Eike Batista. The portfolio acquisition referred to herein not only crystallizes EBX's contentment with the successful settlement of the arbitration regarding the La Bodega property, but also demonstrates the group's strong confidence in Ventana's assets, business plan and management team.
63X clarifies, at last, that is not currently a party to any agreement in respect of the acquisition, holding, disposition or voting of any securities of Ventana. 63X does not own or control any securities of Ventana with, nor is 63X a joint actor with, another entity.
