Resverlogix never officially announced the Yale Club 10/13 R&D update until their news release yesterday, at which time they officially announced the London 10/17 R&D update. Just because the Life Sciences Report tweeted about the upcoming Yale Club 10/13 event (and subsequently I posted it here) in August doesn't really mean that it was officially announced. Conversely, just because Life Sciences Report didn't tweet about the London 10/17 event doeesn't mean that it wasn't being planned side by side with Yale Club all along. So your statement that the London event "doesn't look like anythink pre-planned" really has no evidence to back it up.
Howver, your question about why two similar presentations 4 days apart on both sides of the Atlantic is indeed a good question. And yes I agree that it seems like they were slim on the details of the London event too.
