VANCOUVER, Jan. 5, 2010 /CNW/ - Peter Zell, a director of Run of River
Power Inc. (the "Company") (TSX-V:ROR), today announced he has acquired
3,947,000 common shares (the "Shares") of the Company pursuant to a private
placement (the "Private Placement"). The shares were acquired at a purchase
price of $0.19 per Share, representing an aggregate purchase price of
$749,930.
Following the Private Placement, Mr. Zell controls 8,518,000 Shares,
representing 9.7% of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company.
Assuming the exercise of previously held common share purchase warrants, Mr.
Zell would own 9,993,500 Shares, or 11.1% of the issued and outstanding Shares
of the Company.
The Shares were acquired by Mr. Zell for investment purposes. Depending
upon market conditions and other factors that Mr. Zell may deem material to
his investment decisions, additional shares may be purchased in the open
market or in private transactions.
