If you're not optimistic about the stock, then why would you still own shares?  I mean seriously, isn't it a pre-requisite of still holding to be optimistic about the future.  If you truly believe it's down and to the right from here why wouldn't you just sell?  Even if people are jaded, they can always get out and if you wake up everyday looking for things to be aghast about, that's a sign right there that it's time to move on.
