This unfortunately is not true. We've seen this action many, many times in the past (both upwards and downwards).
We knew the gap needed to be filled (to .47). I unloaded some that I bought in the low 30's to try and get my average down. We knew the gap would get filled and the tax loss selling all in the late fall combined with new TFSA room likely caused this move. We'll see in the next few days.
Hopefully I am wrong but I am not holding my breath. We've unfortunately seen this many times. Gap is now closed so lets see what happens next. I think we either test .52 and then head back down into the 30's if we get no news. Hopefully we get news and can create momentum
