With respect to insider buying, I would've much preferred insider buying to the temporary salary cut.

Given the likely dollar values involved (10-20% salary cut?), from a shareholders perspective I think it's clear that there would have been a greater bang for the buck effect with insider buying. Particularly with injecting some much needed confidence with the company going forward. Another missed opportunity?
