Well, FJ, good thought, and could be; mom and pop are not exactly going to be buying Poet bonds to insure cash flow in retirement, at least not at this point in time!

Sometimes, a very wealthy affiliate may loan a company money, but I don't see that here. But a parter of some size who also believes in the tech and has decided to partner to develop some application or applications thereof, why not? The debentures would likely be convertible into common stock at the option of the debenture holder.
