The POET Forum at Agoracom contains a large number of POET shareholders and is well recognized for performing due diligence and as a medium for communication with a wide range of shareholders. The forum was instrumental in organizing a very large turnout to the Town House Meeting held in Toronto in May of this year. Currently we are exploring ways and means to organize how we interact with the new IR to avoid duplication of efforts and limit the level of workload that can occur with such a large, focused and active group of shareholders.
As such it has been suggested that a point of contact be established by one or more of the POET forum members in order to provide an efficient means of having shareholder questions addressed and posted for the large group of POET shareholders and interested parties who frequent the forum.
An alternative to this would be similar to what has taken place in the past with POET where a list of questions are submitted by the group and then filtered in order of importance for a response from the company. This has had great value in the past for such things as conference calls and the AGM but could be expanded to allow for a more seamless and regular approach to periodic updates.
I would suggest that one approach to providing information in a timely manner to all participants might be for a member of your team to join the Agoracom forum in order to post these updates.
