Perhaps taking the RS off the table could mean that the NASDAQ is not in the cards for the near future and based on the potential growth of the business it may never be needed.

I think the above statement is just silly - if POET has the goods we and they think they do, do you think it would be a self-respecting act to remain on the Venture exchange? IMO it would be imperative just to project the appropriate optics of a game changing company to be on a significant exchange, and the Nasdaq makes the most sense.
