I agree 100% with your post, Fairchij. And I quoted the above, because that's key to understanding the THM and the "2018 EBITDA positive" remark. POET is communicating this simply because it is the truth or at least it is what they are honestly expecting at this time.
Would anyone want POET to conceal facts or founded expectations just because some – pardon my French – idiots on the market could overreact? I know I don't! I want POET to tell us as much as they can! Might even be a legal requirement to give investors an extensive representation of the company.
The market reaction might have been disastrous, but the THM surely wasn't.
