I don't see the lack of new interest at this point in the year as unusal,most profeesional investors will wait for the new year to start with a new investment especially one that has telegraphed mid to late the following year for impact events.
The idea of buying today at 84-85 when it could fall lower thus creating a loss and efeecting the year end bonus for performance is not appealling.I suggest they would wait until January is here which gives them a long term option on the stock,it also allows for the sidestepping the emotional trading which tends to rear its head this time of year.
Remember Mr Valentine's explaination of the strange activity in the market in Trading Places,then recall the result of planning,knowledge and patience as it pertains to the two at the end of the movie.
