yes he has very good credentials and experience directly linked to our needs.. a key question one would have as a potential flag if i was interviewing him ....looking at his linked in account is that he was only with Emcore for 12 months..they put out an NR specifically to announce his appointment as GM back in Nov 2013. people leave for all kinds of reasons and I would expect Suresh and team know the reason he was there for such a short period and were satisfied...(but i admit to being curious to know why as well...thinking perhaps he was hired by former CEO and then they brought in new CEO in 2014 who perhaps wantyed their own team)
Since dec 2014 he has been consulting..often the route chosen by sr mgt and professionals with unique skills while in between jobs or exploring opportunities...
