tombot, thanks for posting this snipit (I do not have time to read the whole thing). Shows how the experts are not up to speed with some things, they made these comments this year about the optical backplane:

- far future dream

- not demonstrated power efficiency

- not cost effective

These experts are soon going to get a wake up call. I like how the comments (issues and limitations) are in line with POET's marketing (significant benefits).
