Something with this many things going for it is going to create the equivalent of a new product
market. POET's optical module is going to create a first-mover advantage. If the Finisar's, and
the Avago's out there are worth their salt, they will know about it, what it can do, and when it will
be ready. If they blink, then some smaller company like a Priceton Optronics, or some other one
will step in, and get that first-mover advantage. Just because you're big does not always mean
you recognize critical industry transitions. Intel, and the mobile market for one, comes to mind.
