IBK sponsored a lunch for the Empire Club today with Jim Balsillie,one of the founders of RIM or BB. His story is fascinating in the rise of a new technology that became a worlwide leader to ultimately fall to Apple and others. He repeated several times that when a new technology takes on the big boys you have to be quick to take advantage of your lead because technology change is very fast and very predatory.
