You might want to go back to the NR and read it again. They did some word manipulation that now I feel was a bit devious. In the headline they called it a "Collaboration Agreement with BAE." Then in the very first sentence they say POET , "...signed a contract with BAE Systems." So in the title they call it a collaboration, then a contract, and this was very exciting! As I read the NR more I was like man this almost sounds like POET is going to pay BAE the way it was worded and I pointed this out but it was dismissed. Then we find out in the financials the contract is in fact POET paying BAE. Now they are calling it an expanded agreement MD&A. I'd be careful reading in too deep when it comes to wording POET uses.
Fully agree someday BAE will be paying POET. Next week? Very hard to believe but I guess possible.
