Last year information on the search for a new CEO was given greater weight by the company than it appears to be giving at present. I should quote something from last uear to support that, but that is certainly my impression. Recent talk about the matter, at the CIC, certainly scaled down any sense of urgency in the CEO search. I, and I think others here, read into this that PC, in spite of the Special Committee's recommendations to move to commercialisation POET, did not write off the sale of the century if an offer was made.
Not appearing on BNN because of the technical requirement for a quite period is to my taste a pretty limp excuse and that normal good management could have avoided such a dcenario or found a get around.
