They don't need our vote to initiate the RS. They have approval to do this already right up until Aug 12, 2015 as per last year’s AGM vote.
Regarding the RS. I have been thinking about this from the following angle. I do think there is a much higher probability of a Share Holder Rights plan being triggered than there is for an RS. However if the SRP is triggered to defend against a hostile takeover then an RS would be required to bring the share count back down in order for the company’s share price to remain high enough for the NASDAQ listing. I really truly believe that POET will have the goods to move us to the NASDAQ listing in the very near term. I think we will know more after April 13.
