The prospect of complimentary logic, optical on chip, universal memory, step function improvements in speed and/or energy consumption, these are tremendous, transformative elements of the POET process that the company has spoken of in the past, and few were listening, still fewer believed.
That all changes with achievement of the milestones (are there any doubts now, with Blevins joining the advisory board, that these have already been met?). Peter said these are requested milestones that prospective partners wanted.
No doubt that there are a lot of conversations, proposals, legal documents under review as partnerships are proposed and some significant players clamor to lock in a piece of the prize. Would love o be a fly on the wall...
