Events that are either unbelievably coincidental or the time is coming very very soon for the world to know.
1) Global Foundaries NY Plant applies for 900 parking space expansion at their NY Plant. One can only assume that they are planning to get busier in the near future.
2.) Global Foundaries owner's announces 1/4 billion euros investment in their Dresden Germany Plant to prepare for "New Technology" production over the next 8-10 ten years. Just about the amount Poet has quoted before, the cost to retool a plant to accomodate for the their technology production not the 10 Billion Samsung has spent for their silicon 14 fin upgrade.
3.) Global Foundaries cuts a deal with IBM to take over their foundaries, receives 1.5 billion in cash and also inherits their R&D and intellectual property in exchange, GF agrees to supply IBM with chips etc. over the next ten years. CC mentions at CIC Investor's presentation that POET would rather enter into a deal with potential customer that would see them provide 30 of their top scientists (R&D) to further develop POET's intellectual property than NRE Revenue?
4.) Investor Magnet Warren Buffet decides to sell all Hathaway's holdings in Exxon and pours it all (3.5 Billion) into IBM.
5.) CC also mentions at recent CIC Investor presentation that there is currently one major american investor out of New York, I wonder who this might be?
6.) Synopsis the worlds leading TCAD company is and has been working closely with POET to develop TDK's etc.
7.) Global Foundaries has pubicly stated in the past that they would like to to take their company public when they are in the right position, actually stating and targeting 2015.
8.) A Business combination between Global Foundaries/Synopsis/Poet would suffice to say get them to the NASDAQ in very short order wouldn't it. Wonder what the IPO would start at?????????????
9.) Throw in Google for their Data Centres and Apple for their I-Watch/Cell phones as another two potential customers/equity stake holders/exclusive rights holders and you have an overnight World Industry King Pin Giant.
10.) POET has had an Agreement with BAE for all Military applications for years now. Wonder how that one is forging ahead. As we know from the past, US Military are at least 10 years ahead of Commercial when it comes to technology. I take it the US is ready to allow for POET's technology to commence from the Commercial side of things now.
Conclusions:
A world "Powered by Poet" may be a lot closer and easily, efficiently and expediently attainable than most would have ever dreamed of.
