There is a difference between "could" and reality. Both views (mine and yours) is still be viewed as speculation at this point. Have you ever tried to short PTK shares yourself through your broker? For example, my broker, does not even lend PTK shares to customers like me. From which I conclude it has to be amount of shares large enough to get the broker's interest before they even attempt to borrow the stock. Also, they assess their risks too when it comes to things like this. It is not 100% risk free process for them (as anything in business).
