The CIC clip now available on the POET website is 21 seconds shorter than the original. So far I think the only part cut was PC stating he owned 4 million shares? Ajits comments about early adopters maybe eating Intel’s lunch or Samsung’s lunch was not cut. Suggesting that POET is not afraid of taking a direct shot at these companies. Which again is really pointing to a level of confidence that in my opinion has a meaningful source. Ajit is putting his reputation on the line here. Something that we have all been waiting for.
In regards to the trading activity today. It does not surprise me that the share price was allowed to be dropped down a little. Serious buyers who would want to accumulate this stock do not want it to run-up. The big block of shares at $1.60 was taken out very quickly. The buyers want more of the same so they put the brakes on the buying and let it settle down. They did not change their mind about buying at this price in one session. I think the share price is being well controlled to avoid an unsustainable break out.
