Manias can and "do" happen on the NASDAQ.
Another one to consider if we're talking "mania", even though it has fallen way back, is Plug Power (PLUG). It was trading at some point in the fall of 2013 near .36, and was run up (nearly 30x) by the first half of March to nearly $11, just on the strength of a Wal-Mart contract and hopes for other similarly sized contracts. Not anywhere NEAR the potential for margins and industry paradigm shifting that POET can have/cause. Of course if POET ran 30x from here, that would put us near $6 billion market cap, probably a bit much for the near future....
We should not have such a pullback (like Plug's) because POET has much better management, a much better story, and they don't insinuate ANYTHING before it's done.
