Our office is split 50/50 along the lines of Apple and non-Apple users. Those that do use Apple products, seem to have a love affair with everything but the battery. Those that dont use Apple seem to be more into function than form but still complained about battery capacity. So I sent out a little ditty on our interoffice social media asking what your top 3 concerns were when buying a smart phone, computer, tablet etc. Last night we tabulated results. Unscientific I know, there were over 300 requests with 249 responses, many of which were fairly long. We distilled it down to these 3 basics.
1) Battery Life/Charging Issues
2) Functionality of features
3) Durability of Product
As for the "Apple Effect", you can bet any alliance with the fruit corporation pays in spades in recoginition, marketibility and inevitably price per share. Lets hope we can ink something with them in due time. The effect would be fruitful.
